Export produced documents

You can export produced documents or a subset of produced documents using the action. When exporting produced documents, all selected documents must exist in the same production.

You can also export updated DAT, image, native, and text files individually or in combination for completed productions without re-exporting the entire production.

To export produced documents, complete the following procedure.

  1. In the Main Menu, select .

  2. Use Search Builder to return documents using the field that includes a specified production name. Refer to Use Search Builder for more information.

  3. Select documents from the Document List.
  4. In the pane, click .
  5. In , type a name to identify the export job.
  6. In , select .
  7. In , select a production name.

  8. To export updated production, follow these steps.

    1. In , select the output format you want to update.

    2. In , click .

    3. In the window, do the following.

      1. Update the output format settings as needed. You can update an output format setting only when you select the respective option in . For more details about the Production Template, refer to Create production.

      2. Click to update the existing template or click to create a new template.

  9. To save the exported documents in DataHub, select the checkbox under .

    • The system saves the exported documents in DataHub as a zip file by default. Using DataHub, you can only download one file at a time. This format enables you to download the export as a single, ZIP file from DataHub. If you want to download individual files from an export, you can save the documents as individual files in the export folder; uncheck the checkbox that appears when you select the checkbox.

  10. Click .
  11. Track the status of the job in the page or the page in Inspect or Review.

  12. After completion, go to the DataHub or Desktop Client to download the exported documents to your computer.

  13. If the system fails to export any selected documents, it generates a Missing Document report that lists the missing documents and explains why the export failed. To view the Missing Documents report, click on the job.
